At The Marcy Lab School, we provide a rigorous yet affordable college alternative that propels underestimated young people into the financially-rewarding, purpose-driven tech careers of their dreams. We build the engineering expertise, critical thinking skills, leadership qualities, and the network that our fellows need to become their best selves, serve their communities, and thrive within an evolving tech sector.

A Little More About Us
We founded Marcy Lab School because we saw room for innovation. We saw the lack of affordable, high-quality, post-secondary education opportunities, especially for young people from underserved communities. Despite the sector's immense growth, we also saw the lack of representation in the tech industry and within its talent pipeline. We wanted to connect all of the wildly talented young people who needed a more promising ROI than traditional college to all of the opportunities in the tech sector, but we wanted to go beyond teaching code to provide a 360 curriculum that deeply engages the needs of low-income young people of color who have been routinely and systematically underestimated. We address their personal and professional development, the issues they will face in the workforce, and the challenges of an ever-evolving tech landscape.
